Source For Pokemon Roms

50 ° puntata (20/11/2009): Panic On The Streets of Prato!

episode dedicated to The Smiths slipped away that it was a pleasure.
Laughter, jokes and music of the quartet of Manchester for 90 minutes of pure entertaining. The transmission was a success and I want to thank first and foremost in the preparation of Radiogas (especially Elizabeth and Irene) for contributing to the good publicity of the initiative and making it possible after several postponements. A full embrace of affection to my invaluable host, Alessandro Ferretti, who with his irreverence and expertise has given a touch of class that was used for such an occasion. The expert was that, and since it is also of other artists and other groups is not ruled out a new collaboration with his future monographic episodes of Tana (because there will be others ... guaranteed lemon). In short, is likely to arise on the aura of the critic par excellence.
Last but not least, all of you who have lost an hour and a half of your evening in my company, hoping to have kept you discover something beautiful (if you did not know them) or having had a real gift that came straight from my heart (if you already appreciate them).
're always connected, other new features coming for you. I enjoyed it like crazy and if these are the results I would be happy to repeat the experiments monographic ...
Thanks again to all ...

Regalone of Nich: November 20, BET monograph devoted to The Smiths!

Incredibile ma vero... we did it ... and this time it's official!
After weeks of procrastination, doubts and logistical problems, the lair of Nich pays tribute to one of the most important bands of the 80s, and one of the formations of my heart: Friday 20 November, from 22.30, SARA 'SOLO SMITHS!
Well, yes. Recently, I had announced several times, but then dried denied for problems related to this or that event, but this time did not stop me any more, partly because the episode number 50 of the Lair of Nich is ready, the playlist and defined The arguments decided.
So, be prepared for a fascinating trip to one of the brightest chapters of music British 80's. Retrace the exploits of the group led by Steven Morrissey, its plaintive and original voice that made him a legend for more than a generation of fans of his lyrics and decadent, full of the typical melancholy in which thousands of people are recognized and reflected . Not to mention the unique and irreplaceable guitar of Johnny Marr, the creator of most of the music combined with the voice of the aforementioned Morrissey created that sound that is destined to remain in the annals of pop-rock. Not forgetting of course the bass and drums Andy Rourke Mike Joyce, the key player in creating some of the rhythmic lines that are a must for fans of the genre.
Through the history of the band talking about their album, dated 1984 with the onset of the same name "The Smiths" (also supported by the first of their collections of b-sides "Hatfull Of Hollow," which comes out in the same year) via their second job, "Meat Is Murder" of 1985 coming to "The Queen Is Dead" in 1986 (probably their most successful) and to double output in 1987 with "Strangeways Here We Come" and the latest collection of b-sides "Louder Than Bombs."
Large pieces are all there: from "This Charming Man" to "How Soon Is Now" from "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" and "Sheila Take A Bow" obviously going to masterpieces like "Please , Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want " and "There's A Light That Never Goes Out".
A trip to the customs and traditions of the period through the eyes smart, provocative and ambiguous of the four in Manchester, their positions (such as the decision not to participate in the 1985 Band Aid in open dispute with the British government led by Margaret Thatcher, head of an iron fist against students and workers in revolt at the time), their ideas, their music.
But I'm not alone in this adventure. Every good captain respectfull beside him an excellent navigator who designed the course and who teaches him along the route. Will be with me in the studio ALESSANDRO FERRETTI, formerly my guest a few months ago with his group, the Maine Road, and a leading expert in music that I know of the channel, and huge fan and madly in love with Morrissey and members. His passion and his expertise will be a tool to better understand the phenomenon Smiths and scope that still affects thousands of bands and artists (think of the covers that are still made and how their samples are championships to be inserted into other tracks).

So, if I were you I did not miss it for anything in the world. It will be a great episode and I want you all to listen. From 22.30 to 24 ... ONLY ON RADIOGAS.IT
